Privacy Policy

1. Your Photos Stay on Your Device

All image editing, face detection and makeup rendering happen locally in your browser. We do not receive, see, upload, transmit or store the photos or files you open or create. Projects you choose to save are written only to your browser's local storage (IndexedDB) on your device and are not accessible to us.

2. Information We Collect

We keep data collection to a minimum. We do not require an account and do not ask for your name, email or other personal identifiers to use the editor.

Information you provide

None is required to use the editor. If you contact us, we receive the information you choose to send (e.g. your email address and message).

Anonymous usage analytics

To understand aggregate usage and improve the Service, we collect privacy-preserving, anonymous analytics, which may include: pages/screens viewed, referring website, approximate device category, browser and operating system, coarse screen-size bucket, primary language, and anonymous feature-usage events (for example, that an export occurred). We do not store your IP address; instead, unique visits are counted using a salted, one-way hash that rotates daily and cannot be reversed to identify you. This analytics data is self-hosted and not sold. We honour the browser "Do Not Track" / Global Privacy Control signal — when present, analytics are not collected.

3. Cookies & Local Storage

We and our advertising partners use cookies and similar technologies. In summary:

• Essential local storage: a temporary, anonymous session identifier (in sessionStorage) used only to group analytics events for a single visit, and IndexedDB used to store the projects you save. These stay on your device.
• Advertising cookies: set by Google and its partners to serve and measure ads (see below).
• Administrative cookies: a secure, HttpOnly session cookie is used only for authenticated site administrators; it is never set for ordinary visitors.

You can block or delete cookies and clear site storage in your browser settings. Doing so may affect saved projects and ad relevance.

4. Advertising & Google AdSense

The Service is free and funded by advertising. We use Google AdSense to display ads. Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies (such as Google's advertising cookies, including the DoubleClick/__gads cookies) to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites.

• Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visits to this Service and/or other sites on the Internet.
• You may opt out of personalised advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings, or opt out of some third-party vendors' use of cookies at aboutads.info/choices and youronlinechoices.eu.

If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or another region requiring consent for advertising/analytics cookies, ads may be served subject to your consent collected via a consent mechanism, and you may withdraw consent at any time using the choices above.

5. How We Use Information

• to operate, maintain, secure and improve the Service and understand aggregate usage;
• to display and measure advertising that keeps the Service free;
• to detect, prevent and respond to abuse, security incidents and technical problems; and
• to comply with law and enforce our Terms.

6. Third-Party Services

We rely on a small number of third-party providers, which process data under their own privacy policies:

• Google AdSense — advertising (see Section 4).
• Web fonts — fonts may be requested from a font provider (e.g. Google Fonts), which may receive your IP address as part of the standard request to deliver the font.

The on-device face-detection model is self-hosted and runs locally; it does not send your images anywhere.

7. Data Retention

Anonymous analytics events are retained for a limited period (by default up to approximately 13 months) and then deleted, after which only aggregate statistics may remain. Data stored locally on your device (saved projects, session storage) remains until you or your browser removes it.

8. Your Rights & Choices

Depending on where you live, you may have rights under laws such as the GDPR, UK GDPR or CCPA/CPRA, including the right to access, correct, delete, or restrict processing of personal data, and to opt out of certain processing. Because our analytics are anonymous and we do not store identifiers or your IP, we are typically unable to identify a specific individual from the data we hold. You can:

• enable "Do Not Track" / Global Privacy Control to stop analytics collection;
• opt out of personalised ads via the links in Section 4;
• block/clear cookies and site storage in your browser; and
• contact us with any request (see Section 13).

We do not sell your personal information.

9. Children's Privacy

The Service is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your jurisdiction), and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, contact us and we will take appropriate steps.

10. International Users

We operate from India and our service providers may process data in other countries. By using the Service you understand that your information may be processed in countries whose data-protection laws may differ from those of your country.

12. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Policy from time to time. We will post the revised version with a new "Last updated" date, and your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
